What is the purpose of a control cable?

CONTROL CABLES are single-core or multi-core cables made of cable wire that can operate at direct current or low-frequency alternating current and are intended to transmit control signals from an external transmitting point to a controlled apparatus or to transmit signals from the controlled apparatus to the external transmitting point; provided, however, that for this Agreement, Control Cables do not include cables that have protective sheaths.

Control cables are frequently referred to by the application, including motor cable, robotic cable, and equipment supply cable. These cables are made for various signal transmission, measurement, control, and regulation applications in industrial process automation.

The function of the control cable:
